Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Today starts my new schedule. Tomorrow I will start my 10 hour shifts.
I fed the cattle and sheep and now am back inside for a second cup of coffee.
A dusting of snow last night gave a quiet feel to the old place this morning.
Hubby and I cut thorn trees yesterday. It makes me feel so good when they come down. Several of them had grown pretty tall around our metal machine shop building. I will treat the roots so they won't resprout in the Spring. We didn't burn our brush pile, because it was slightly windy yesterday. There is just no easy way to get rid of this guys. I have pulled many thorns out of my boots.
I was discussing the drought with a friend yesterday. Here it's probably not as noticeable as out west, but we still need lots of rain.
I need to run errands today. Everyone take care.
