After goofing off my entire day since 4 AM online with my friends................ I go outside on this sunny and beautiful day and just when I had stopped looking at my weather forecast, I find that I have been FROSTED!!!! The first time this winter and done when I thought I was totally safe. I had moved back outside all my little starters last week. Was pumping them full of fertilizers to get them going for spring! and my lochromas which I was really forcing new growth on so I could send Cala lots of cuttings so she could start them for you all that wanted them............are all frosted also!!!
Oh MY GOD!!!
So sorry, the poor plants. Do know such 10 years ago in europe.

well thank you Ludger. it is such a shock! the weather site says it only got to 37 degrees here last night.....so I do not get it!!!
Kell sorry to hear this..but they will come back..at least they aren't dead. :-)
So sorry for you that this happened. It must have been a chock coming out in the sunshine to watch them frosted. How bad is it? Sometimes the weather behave otherwise, for example if you live in one of the valleys. I cross my fingers its only leaf damage. One of the leaves in the front seem only damaged in the lower half, so there is a chance that the green branches make it and start to shoot soon.
WOW kell, start pullin those frosted leaves!
They'll come back, but are the babies OK?
Oh no kell! How often do you have a frost in your zone? No frost warning I guess. Poor things. They'll perk up soon.
Hugs*

Kell, sorry to hear this. It doesn't have to get to 32 degrees to have a frost. I always am careful when it gets below forty and give protection. Just never know when ole' Jack Frost might decide to sit a while. I'm lucky to that we have lots of trees and just putting the plants there will protect them a lot.
Bummer! So sorry it happened, hope they are ok.
Poor thing! It hurts to look at the photo. I can imagine how you feel.
I see some green leaves in there so hopefully they will be okay.
