portion control is the key ladies!!!!!
1/2 cup of rice looks like a cupcake wrapper
1 cup of pasta, cereal, is 2 servings, and looks like a medium sized fist
3 oz. fish, chicken, or meat looks like a deck of cards, or a computer mouse
1 medium sized fruit looks like a tennis ball
1/2 c. cooked vegetables looks like a scoop of ice cream
1 oz. cheese looks like a pair of dice
2 T reduced fat salad dressing looks like a 1 ping pong ball
1 tsp oil or butter looks like the tip of a thumb
just a couple for us to ponder!
I was surprised about about the oz of cheese....I've been actually weighing it shredded, so cant tell about the dice
