Look at those big fat pods! Heck, I know I'm going to have to get one of these.

* How is this one different then peaches and cream- beside the bloom?

*edit for spelling

Hi Datdog,
I got in trouble before for liking this brug over P&C.... lol
Some people have good luck with P&C. I was always just coaxing along.
I gave mine to one of my southern friends. She says is doing 'okay' there for her.

I especially like this brug for its beauty and vigor. Just never seems to quit.
All times of the year my plant seems to always look great and do well.
It has produced a good number of pods, I like also.
I hope for good prodigy (o:

'Snowbank' is supposed to be developed from this brug, also.
Hoping it has same good qualities when grown (o:

I have to agree with you.P&C was very slow growing for me in this part of the country.I had it for over a year and never saw it bloom. Finally chopped it up and gave the cuttings away. Maya on the other hand bloomed very early and continues to do very well in my cool GH. It is definitely one that does well in colder climates.

I have had both P&C and Maya and I still have Maya. P&C didn't grow for me. After a year it was still only about 18 inches tall or less. I gave it to my niece and then it bloomed. Maya was always a heavy bloomer for me and a great shaped brug too. This one is a keeper for sure.

This is on my wish list as well. I got a peice of it last year, but I killed it. I got a peice of Snow's P&C and it is doing well. If it makes it through the last days of winter, I can't wait to see what it does outdoors.

I should have some cuttings available when the weather warms.
But tonight it is snowing ..again )o:

Here too Alice, yuck! I can't believe we have had this much snow this year. It started here about midnight, and hasn't let up yet.

Alice ,you have WAY too many pods...not fair!

I kinda wonder if the P&C I have is really a P&C

Its growing great, and the leaves are different from my Maya

Abutilon, can I get in line for cuttings? It's kinda cool here, too, and perhaps Maya will do well for me. We got 7 inches of snow in NC last night. We don't as much snow-clearing equipment as up north, and the state won't come up community-roads that are not state-maintained, so I am snowed in for a few days. I had already been in for 2 days prior to the snow, so I will really have cabin fever when this is over.
