Temp for new buds

Dripping Springs, TX

I finally have blooms on a brug that is outside in a pot. I need to know how low the temperature can go before there is damage to the buds...... I guess I should already know this... oops!

I would think it depends on which brug it is. Some can take lower temps and keep on going, others drop everything.

This is a mystery brug that I got here in TX. It has never bloomed the 3+ years I've had it. It maybe the worlds first truly ugly brug. We might have flurries Fri-Sat. Help me Kell!

Bring it in ..........bring it in..Meri Lynn....if it is cold enough to snow! LOL! It may bloom in your house! Brugie always says there is not such thing as an ugly brug so I think you are safe!

Hang in there DR. Keep that brug going. You might just have a real beauty. Give it lots of fertilizer. While they are growing you can double strengh the fertilizer every week or two and they really go to town. Good luck, and if it does have to come inside, just get the clothes pins ready in case it does have foot rot.
