Welcome Miss from New York City where the flowers grow between concrete slabs :-) I'm having fun here at DG and I'm sure you will also. I look forward to reading your posts.

Welcome! Nice chatting you the other day...night? Jo
Hi,Padre, flowers grow between concrete slabs , thats cute.:)
Hi notmartha, hard to grow the tropicals here too in Pa (zone 6b) i drag them in for the winter.wish i could leave them out , well they are worth it! just love the tropicals! :)
Hi Jo,nice to hear from you.:)
miss, if you put your cursor on my name to right and give it a click it will take you to my page, then give a click on view threads root has started,it will show my yard.
Root, what are the large leaved plants in the front of the picture, you are about the same zone but i have never seen them here in Pa? are they banana?
Yep,that and EEs.I put em in Greenhouse to winter them, till they got too big.
Root, can you store the EE bulbs, like canna?
I store some like cannas, and I keep some alive in pots in the house.
rootdoctor, I don't think we have talked before. Hope was okay I went to your page. Great picture, sure looks like somewhere much more south. My zone is supposedly 5, but the weather here is so variable. This year it has been about zone 7 so far, but of course the winter isn't over. What did you do with those great bananas this year, you surely don't have a greenhouse large enough. rutholive, (Donna)
Hi, Miss, we are glad you joined us. A big welcome from the dry side of Oregon.
