Good Luck Jeanne!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

brugcrazy is getting a hand operated on this morning. Best of luck Jeanne, you'll be back spraying aphids in no time.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Take good care of yourself, Jeanne and best wishes for a quick recovery.

Dripping Springs, TX

Hope strength will return to you soon. Follow the Doctor's instructions to the letter. Get them in writing. Don't try anything to soon. I worked in a Hand Clinic for after surgery care and PT for a few years. I saw numerous people who tried to use their hands too early after surgery. Some had to go back into surgery. Recovery is for healing. Good Luck Brugcrazy.

Oh wow, what was the problem with her hand???

Hope you're gunna be waving that hand REAL soon......

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

She might have already left by now. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, in both hands. So the other will be done later. She's got an in-house MD so I'm sure he'll keep her in line.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

oh hon, I know that hurts! hope the surgery is quick and hope your recovery is too!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Thats awful, its one of those nighmare things that just never get better....

Dripping Springs, TX

Thanks Liz! I guess that means her DH is the MD. Good to know.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Poor Jeanne! I hope working on Monika's book for us all did not make it worse! Hope you recover quickly and with no pain!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Brugcrazy, wishing you a speedy recovery - and be sure you rest up afterwards, and dont try to get online and type a long dissertation on your surgery......
Hang in there, thinking of you and sending sunny thoughts your way :)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

gotta get one of those talkie things that type what you say........

Dripping Springs, TX

Oh CC--I bet you could say soooo many things to goof up you computer! If it's anything like the voice automated thing at the bank.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Jeanne, Hope your surgery goes well and you have a quick recovery. Sure is nice to have a Doc in the house to keep his eye on you.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Jeanne, hope you get to feeling great real soon. I know this will be no picnic, but I bet it won't be long before you and your trowel and bag of soil are headed for your greenhouse. Take it easy and heal well. Hope DH has a great dinner for you.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Jeanne, all the best to you and the doc. Hope he will do a great and good work with your hand.

rural, WY(Zone 3a)

Good luck Jeanne...You'd never know you had CPS by the AMAZING meal you made me! That must have hurt with all the chopping! Maybe the Doc'll hook you up with some extra powerful medicines! LOL.

thanks for all the good wishes. the surgery was no big deal, my left hand is still frozen, typing with only one hand is hard. should be fine in 3-4 days, i just sprayed a couple of plants for aphids a few minutes ago and tossed some vine that was covered outside.don't want them to take over again.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Ya just can't get a good woman down!!

Burlington, ON(Zone 6a)

Jeanne, you are supposed to be taking it easy, not gardening!
Keep that hand clean and dry and let your anesthetic wear off before you start going back at it again.
It's Dr.'s that are supposed to make bad patient's, not their wives. :)
Heal quickly please.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Brugcrazy, good to hear your surgery went well and you are already back at it. give your hand a rest....
just read for a while (the posts) and dont force yourself to write much, a simple "hi" will let us know that you are here...

So glad everything went well and you're up and around so quickly but as everyone said don't over do.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

that is great you are already up and around! How did you get Carpal Tunnel Jeanne? from the computer? I was getting pain in my right hand so Tom bought me an optical track ball for a mouse and it is great......no more pain!

Jeanne,
Glad to hear all is ok....I just found out about the surgery a few minutes ago.

Hi Jeanne,

Read this post a bit late to wish you well before your surgery, but I glad to read on and discover your surgery went well and that you are up and running:)
Both of my Parents have had that surgery so I understand how frustrating it is to go through it.
Sure hope it is successful and with time your hand recovers well.
Crys
