Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

She wanted to help so I gave her some seeds to plant. She's three years old and is my "water girl" her and her plastic Hippo watering can take care of all my indoor plants. *like her swim wear- it's her outfit of choice 12 months out of the year*

that's why all your plants grow so healthy and big I bet! Your little garden helper is the secret! I love her "special gardening outfit"!

Wish I had a helper like yours. However, I've gone through raising three and spent a lot of time raising one of my grandchildren, so I kind of enjoy seeing them go home after a visit. She looks very intent Kristi. She must be a perfectionist. Great picture.

Kristi..cool looking helper you have there. I bet she grows into a green thumb like you...
It's always fun to have your children help you out..you never know what will be coming up, but you have fun watching them absorbed int heir task. My children loved helping me out, the delighted in mixing the seeds for surprises...

Thanks everyone. Jennifer is thrilled to see her picture up here. She keeps looking at it in wonder. Brugie, your 100% right, she is a perfectionist. She gets that from her Dad. She is the most determined little person I've ever seen. She always needs a "job" to do around the house. It's a hoot. You ought to see how clean her little room is. She makes her bed EVERY day and keeps all her toys neatly put away (She didn't get this from me!). Now her seven year old sister, that's a different story. She takes after me I guess. They are both a big help and sometimes NOT SO big a help!

Kristi, She is a real doll. It wasn't long ago that my grandaughter was helping me out in the yard every time she would come over. It sure makes it fun when we can share our love for plants with the little ones. Now the grandson's on the other hand, would much rather be looking for pill bug's or worms.

Oh Oh, the pictures are gone. Hopefully just temporarily

What a cutie. It's so nice of you to teach her about gardening. My 10 yr old neice come to our house quite a bit, especially in the summer when we can be outside. One day we were weeding the garden (which I love to do). She said she didn't want to do that and was wondering around the yard. She came across a 3 piece alligator we had put down for decoration, and come screaming across the yard that she found an alligator and I had to come see it right away. She was about 5 or 6 at the time and thought it was real. It was really cute. But I know what you mean about having children help you in gardening and other chores. It doesn't seem like work when they're around.

Thanks for all sweet comments. Jennifer LOVES having her picture here. Whenever I'd sit down at the computer she'd run over and have me pull it back up. She's a hoot!
