saltwater tank

A friend of mine gave me her saltwater tank setup (38 gal). She had spent close to a $1000.00 for everything. It was fully functional and had a fish, living coral and other creatures as of yesterday. Now its at my house. It is set up and I think everything is OK. Is there anything I need to look out for in the next few days? Any other suggestions?
