after a week most times I see the Y. Than I am singing...
Ludger--I love that! I'll have to try the "Tuff Love" technique. I stare at them when their sleeping and it freaks them out.
I stopped singing to them....too many died from it.....

For some reason it doesent kill the weeds,they seem to grow better from it Ludger.But when I start singing all the chickens run,dogs howl,the macaw screams, and the peacocks screach.I don't understand it,my chorus teacher said she's never heard anything quite like my singing.........just before they said there was no room for me.......

I too, threaten my plants, if they don't get busy and bloom soon, OUT they go! That usually brings them around and they bloom soon after that.
Only my Queen of Night I have to tell it seven years before blooming...lol.
Well you and me both, I have had mine 7 yrs. also, never bloomed for me, but I will not throw that one out. Maybe this year?
Dang ,here I was feeling sorry for myself cause mine hasn't bloomed in 4 years......
I have 3 more YEARS.......

I started singing to them but when I noticed they were wilting I stopped. I now have a radio in the GH and they are doing much better. LOL
Ahh Snow maybe it's the talk radio that's killing them at my house. Glory I know-- everytime DG is offline I keep thinking my computer is having cooties.
DR, they seem to thrive on Country and Western. :)
It's true! Talking NICELY to your plants, singing, or playing "soothing" music DOES actually make a difference! It helps the plants to thrive and grow. It's a proven fact!! HONEST, I didn't make this up!!!
On the other hand....if you yell or swear (NO ONE DOES THAT) at your plants, it can actually stunt their growth or cause them to die! Plus, don't play any loud music with crashing cymbals or banging drums....it's been reported that it will cause them to wither, become stunted, or even worse!
Soooo, the moral of this story is....be kind to your plants, talk to them daily, play soothing melodious melodies and soon they will be thriving & feeling much better! SO WILL YOU!!

Talking /singing produces CO2 recommended for all plants,plus it keeps sanity while toiling.or is talking while you are alone with plants a sign of insanity???
