Does it needs more words? Every year the same again!
Oh how depressing...........
Oh Monika- I feel for you. How much snow do you have? Is this a normal snow fall for you.
Your summer garden is LOVELY.... I hope you warm up real soon.
Kristi
oh monika, I don't know how you do it! Your dedication just shows that much more when we realize all you have to go through to get your lovely babies blooming.
There is beauty in all things.
Won't be too long before spring. We are all waiting anxiously for it.
I definitely know how you feel......
and its only Febuary.....
they are both gorgeous pics. my yard is terribly brown, dead sticks still standing, it could use a little snow to hide the damage.
Monika, We need to move where it's warm. This time of year is depressing. We are ready for spring but the bad weather keeps coming We got 5 more inches last night and it's still coming. Power going on and off from heavy snow breaking limbs on power lines.I hope your snow soon stops and the weather turns better for you. This pic was taken this morning.
i would love to see what you guys would grow in zone 10!
Oh Monika,it looks lovely!! We hardly get snow that sticks this far down, but when we do,I don't mind a bit.We just had a little yesterday, but with the temperatures going back up to 5c tomorrow, most of it will disappear :(.
I feel bad when the weather is cold too. Wish it would get warm and stay that way. Monika, we don't have snow this year and have had very little so your picture looks very pretty to me. I know I wouldn't think so if the snow were in my yard though. Hope it melts away soon and that spring comes early for you.
Snow, snow, snow, thats all we had since last Tuesday.
50cm are on the ground (17 inches ?) and where the winds have free hands, it piles up to over 1m (33 inches?) The snow plough cleared our road today, 30 minutes later, it was laying ankle high again.
Ludgers GH is flooded, he told me on the phone this afternoon. The amount of snow here came down as rain where he lives. And his ducks love it. What do I need - pinguins?
LOL......
Monika, I feel bad that you're getting so much snow. I hope Ludgers greenhouse is OK. I wonder what trick Mother Nature will play on us next. I just posted a picture of my yard yesterday on the Photo forum. We have had our share of snow too and I'm very tired of it.
Monika
the rain changed to snow. On my way to the restaurant I turned back. In moment its impossible to drive..pure ice on streets. Much people left her cars and walked at home.
The drivingboarder is a small hill next to us....
Sounds bad, you two don't deserve all that. Hope the power stays on! Hurry up spring.
Gosh Ludger, glad you turned back. Ice is worse than snow. Better stay home till it clears up. Hope the weather gets better for you and Monika.
I very hope all people will come home save tonight. This weather here is really strange in moment.
I am glad to sit in warm house at the PC...
Glad you changed your mind and returned back home. They showed ice rain and later on snow for northern germany on the weather report while we are stuck in snow.
The trafic report in radio didnt say anything about this here. I talked to a friend right now. He said that he needed three and a half hour for a 3o minutes way back home.
Gosh, I'm glad I've stayed home today. We are having snow and high winds right now. I don't think it will be anything like Ludger and Monika have had, but we aren't used to it this winter. There will be problems with the roads. Hang in there everyone. Spring will eventually get here.
We must be getting your weather soon. They are predicting rain ,sleet, ice, turning to snow with high winds 20 to 30 mph with 40 to 50 mph gusts
Really looking forward to it.....NOT
May be the weather is crazy all over the world...remember the frost in India last weeks.
Monika something like that happens here is time for a celebration and everyone go's out to play.
All I can say is I am so glad I live in the south. I could not deal with all that snow.
hey guys, she's going out in that to mail our books today. please be careful monika!!!!!!!!!!!!
Iowa weather is warm one day then freezing cold and snowing the next...we go through so much variation here.:-(
tiG, the parcels are in the mail! We needed 1 1/2 hrs for four miles (with snow chains) LOL! And we will get even more snow by tonight SIGH!
Oh Monika, if I could send you some of our mild weather I would!! It is amazing that you can create a slice of heaven after your land is frozen for so much of the year.
I can't wait for my book! Thanks so much for making it readable to those of us that can't speak German! Too bad it took you so long to get to the post.
oh monika, you have gone to so much trouble! But i know that it will bring many smiles on this side of the pond. thank you again. For everyone that ordered, I'll have the update for the extra in a bit, have to do some math:) and find out the exchange rates. will make a new post in a bit.
Oh Monika and Ludger, you do have it bad there!! We have had snow for as long as you have, but it melts and comes back again. In the hills, which are twice as high as we are(850-900 müM,we are 440müM),it doesn't melt,so Tuesday is was at least 1-2 meters in some places....I don't want to think about how high it is in the Alps.
Well ,soon it will be Spring...I hope, lol.
