My daugther- in -law has a rabbit foot that she bought two year ago. It has out grown the pot. Do you know how to repot it and can it be propagted.

I have two huge rabbit's foot ferns that are root bound! Need to repot. If I put it in a basket with coconest fiber liners do I have to put the "foot" through the liner?
