Netscape & IE

I'm seriously thinking of getting a new computer. I have a question though. Can my netscape bookmarks be imported into IE? I hate to lose all of them & would like to start using IE. I have them on a disk. Also is there any problems if I install both on my puter. I have NS 4.7 on a disk & like that. Another question.. do any of U use Outlook express for mail & does it have a way to notify U of a new E-mail?
I'm sure before Monday or Tuesday I'll have many more questions :)
