Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Lookin good!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Why are you whining? they look great! Of course you now have to send your laundry out to get cleaned but we should all be so lucky.

Dripping Springs, TX

those brugs are just the ones that made it. I didn't count the goners.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

They look great! And I want your laundryroom. Especially the counter.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Your Brugs look great and I love those little greenhouses.I haven't seen anything like them around here.Bet they work great.
I have to agree with Liz. That countertop is beautiful.

Don't you have Big Lot up there Snow??

Dripping Springs, TX

Snowhermit--I got mine at Big Lots--cheap $15.OO. The ones on ebay are $35-45 plus shipping. Do you have Big Lots up there? I remember them in Mass. They didn't have any taller ones but I have a catalog from a farm supply/GH that has the ones with 4 shelves. If anybody wants the name email me. They hold heat well at night. I put a blanket over them and have lights inside. The temp is 70 inside the GH and 43 outside.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

No. We don't have much up here. If I want to go to Home Depot I have to drive 100 miles. I never heard of Big Lot. :(

Dripping Springs, TX

That far out at least you don't have to do your hair or shave your legs..LOL What am I talking about I don't do that either. Snow do you like the one with 2 shelves or would you like 4?

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

I got the 3 shelf one for $19.95, it is great.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Just looked at your hyperlink Azalea. It seems like there's Big Lots everywhere. There must be one in NH somewhere. I'll have to check it out.

Dripping Springs, TX

oh Azalea where did you get the 3 shelf?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Just checked out the Big Lot site. There are two in NH. One is about two hrs away and the other is about three hrs away. Sometimes I wish I didn't live in the boonies.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

I got the 3 shelf one at Big Lots - you have to look for them tho, as I said in the thread - they are not in the same place in the store. I have seen the 4 shelf units in gh catalogs for as much as $75.00. I saw the 4 shelf one at Hobby Loby for $50.00. Just thought the 3 shelf one was the best buy. Hope you can find them Snow.

Dripping Springs, TX

you better call first. try Farmtek.com and lookup greenhouse self unit. They don't show it on the ws but in my catalog the price is 24.95 w/o the plastic and 29.00 with the plastic. until 022803. Don't know how much the shipping is.

DR,
Did you get my email the other day?

Dripping Springs, TX

Glory I'll look. My DH's college forum email clog up my box and some days I have 200-400 emails.

DR,
WOW!!!that's a lot of emails....

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Dr, i want more views of where you live... is that a stone cliff behind your patio (everybody don't laugh so i can hear you, my eyes don't work right, lol). it looks like really different terrain, is it desert?

Dripping Springs, TX

Arlene--that's tile in the laundry room...LOL Just kidding!
In the picture with the little GH there is a stone wall which is my house--my bedroom is behind that wall. The little wall is a raised bed planter we built all around the areas where there was rainwater pipe coming from the gutters. If you look in the Cactus forum I posted a picture from my back porch with a cactus. Maybe that will help. Here's another angle. Yikes my shadow looks freaky!
Now I know why my dh says "no sweats in public"

DR .. I think you are doing a good job. We all loose cuttings from time to time.

Dripping Springs, TX

Thanks! I need a pat on the back from a fellow Texan! (I'm a transplant--forgive me I got here as fast as I could!)

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

Looks like you take good care of your plants Desert-Rose.
Those green houses are so cute..great idea. The stone on your house and border is lovely..it must be very beautiful. When I first looked at the pic of your plants indoors..I said to myself.."That's the laundry room?!!!!!!"..
Wow! I would love to see a pic of the whole house.I'm going to look at the Cactus forum now..
Cheers,
Carol

Why can't I see any of the pictures here?
Is it my computer?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

christmascactus, do you have Norton. Seems like this came up a while back with someone else. I'm sure if you asked on the Computer forum one of those computer smart people will be happy to help you. They're great and know just about everything or they'll find out about it.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

You see only a little red cross instead a picture...?
I was this one..it´s Norton. You must take off the " Datenschutz" äh..data protection.

GL

Thanks Snow & Ludger.
No,I don't have Norton.
As it turns out the pictures do show up-but,it takes a very long time-can I do anything to speed things up?
