You GOTTA participate. Lelan or "ZZ" does the best-est, fun-est, & the must educational veggie swaps in the world! So, my suggestion would be to either go to some local stores or nurseries this weekend, cause I've seen seed packets displayed in my local grocery store. Or you could get them on-line too. It would be a cryin' shame to miss his MEGA SWAPS!!! Guaranteed fun :~)

I am sure hoping to have a veggie garden this year. I know I will fight weeds like you wouldn't believe because the garden spot has been ignored for four years or more but I still want to try it. Mulch mulch mulch is the big word around here. And after the mulch I hope the next word is can, can, can... :~)

As for the Veggie Swap, it will be YOUR LOSS NOT TO JOIN in, but that's your decision. If others wish to, they are cordially invited to participate, join in the fun, increasing their knowledge, as well as, their palate, plus growing a wonderful selection of veggie seeds in their gardens.
Dearest ZZTOPSOIL, Please forgive me for being so rude in wanting to know if you are male/female. Actually I guess it TOTALLY NONE of my business! I hope you don't hold this against me. Maybe we can trade seeds sometime soon.

I looked in to participating in the veggie swap but the amount of seeds needed for each swap made it out of my league. I deal with packets that have maybe 25 seeds in them if you are lucky!

Ponditis-
Most Seed Trades should have 20-25 Seeds in them. Unless...you tell the Person you are Trading with ahead of time that your Seed Packets do not.
The amount of Seeds in "ZZ's"~'Veggie Seed Swap' is 20 Seeds Per Seed Packet for Large Seeds...1/2-Teaspoon for fine seeds. I learned a lesson last year...Too many people were buying Lettuce, Carrots, and Radishes, etc....The smaller Seed Packets, and dividing them up...and only Sending in the Seed Count that was required....And then asking for the Rarest of Heirlooms in Return. It just didn't prove to be Correct, and I learned...And Last Year My Wallet got Lighter too. I Purchased many Seeds along with the Freebees I had received from Seed Companies, to make up for the Individuals who did as little as Possible to meet Seed Counts...Just to get Prized Heirlooms. I Learned through My Wallet...And learned a Great Lesson in running a Great Seed Swap.

ZZ I am smiling as I read this since that is exactly how I would have probably done a seed swap. Buy expensive seeds and mostly get cheap seeds. LOL Yup, you learn after a while.
I guess I will go look at what I might have available in seeds and check some germinations. You just might intice me yet!
