CHECK THIS OUT!!!

While eating supper tonight, I read about this "new" diet if you are interested. It's in the January 2003, Readers Digest. It's called Change One. The "short as I can make it" story is:

You eat between 1300 and 1600 calories a day
You start out concentrating on eating breakfast everyday, once you get that down pat, you go on to lunch and they make recommendations for that, then they work on snacks (several are allowed, salty, sweet, baked, and frozen) and then dinner. They also allow several things from Taco Bell, Burger King, McDonalds, Wendys, and Subway. The theory is that you do one thing at a time and when you are comfortable with that, you move on. They also recommend physical exercise. They have a book they will sell for 28 bucks plus shipping and handling and you can also join them online and the first week is free. No clue what the fee is if you join online. They emphasize there is no counting of calories or points or whatever but they do emphasize portion control. Nothing really revolutionary, just wanted to share with you. Information is power - or whatever that saying is....Hope everyone had a GREAT Monday!
