Is this a new variety or an older variety with another name put on it. Plant Delights is selling it. I am thinking about ordering it. In the description, it grows to 5 ft. tall, the flowers are light golden peachy. The leaves are edged in white.
Sunset Brugmansia
It is Maya, Debby.
Look in the Brug Data Base where I posted some photos.
Abutilon: It is indeed. You even have the other name Sunset listed. The photo you have in the database is quite breathtaking, better than the one in PD's catalog. Thanks, so much for clearing the name thing up. Parancanda, now we know.
One more for the wish list, thanks a lot, Debby :-) John
Deb, let me check. I think I had an extra cutting of Maya. If not, as soon as mine gets in the garden, she will start lots of shoots from the bottom. You are welcome to come over and whack away.
Deb, My sunsets are different then Mayas....one has rippled leaves with more white(Sunset) and the Maya leaves are smoother and more gray then green like Sunset.Check with me this spring I may have an extra cuttings I can part with.
:-)
Brugie and Eclipse, thanks for the offer. You will problably be hearing from me when we defrost and de-ice. I
especially like variegated plants.
Deb, check with Kyle and maybe he can get a Suaveolens Variegata white started for you too. He has the mother plant. It is a fast grower, but maybe a bit on the dessert side for mites. :-) Smaller flowers, but a nice plant. It makes a nice potted plant because it doesn't get too big.
Eclipse,
i was just wanting to know if you would have an extras cutting of the sunset for me? i love vareigated plants and i have been wanting a variegated brugs for a while now plmk if you dont i understand thanks
moretz

Sorry guys I only have enough cuttings of Sunset(I just got them 2 weeks ago)to use for work and maybe one extra and so far Deb is first in line..if I have more later I'll post the extras. :-)
