New food

I know there is already a thread about pet food,but deceided to start a new one. When we got Payne one of the Ridgeback foster moms suggested we feed Diamond Maintenance. It has worked out well for us. As some of you may know Payne has joint problems and is getting liquid glucosamine and chondroitin...also giving it to Rhodie. Payne also is on Etogesic for pain. Both are doing great. Anyway...Diamond has a new formula for dogs over 60lbs. It has the glucosamine and chondroitin already in it. It costs more so we've been mixing it with the maintenance. All 4 dogs love it (Rhodie has actually become a lady when eating instead of a pig) and seem to have more energy. The g & c not only helps with the joint pain,but also helps repair damage. We have gotten Payne down to only a half tablet of Etogesic a day..now that we are mixing the 2 foods I might try to take him off altogether when the weather warms up. So for those who have large dogs you might want to check out Diamond's new formula.
