Hi i am new

wanted to let everyone know that i am a new member.i just got to get on here today so far i love it and i think i will be on here for a long time lol.if anyone has anything for postage for a newbie i sure would appriciate it.i will have some things to trade in spring but i do have some seeds i can trade,i am looking for variegated brugs plants,shooting stars plants,and a few others. thanks for reading my post. happy gardening

Hi, Moretz - welcome to DG! :) You'll probably have better luck finding plants for postage if you post in the Plant Trading forum. There's not quite as much readership here, even though we're a friendly bunch!

Half my family's signed up at DG, and I'm sure you'll run into them: Howie's my husband, Lotusblossom's my mom and Whiterose is my aunt (Lotusblossom's sister).

i am from nc.i love it here.we just got 8" of snow and we dont get very much.it has been along time since we had gotten any.i know iw ill love it here i have tried GW but it is alot better here then there.i am glad that you all have welcomed me into your "home".it is very cozy here.i wish i could find someone who has a variegated brugs for me i have been looking for this for a long time now.it is probably to cold to send now anyway and i will probably have to wait until spring before i could get one.i will look around here in spring and maybe someone might have one .well it has been fun so far.i have alot of more "looking around" in this home to do,so every one stay warm and keep in touch

Welcome Moretz :) You sure came to the right place to find Brug-lovers! Hundreds and hundreds. Have you found the Brug forum yet?

Welcome over here!! I think you will like it. As you have heard-lots more trading in the spring-lots of people here are into brugs. I am waiting for snow-please send some. We are having frigid weather, but no snow for mulch. Will keep an eye out for your post of haves/wants--need to get mine up in the spring, when I see what made it!!!

i can send you what snow we have left not much but i loved it.i cant wait until spring so i hope i can find some of the plants i am looking for.i already have one person email me to send me some seeds and plants just to welcome me into DG and she has one plant that i have been looking for, so one is off of my list for now lol,i love this place and yes like all of you have said"very generious people here and they know how to make you feel very welcomed here" i cant wait until spring to see what i can trade from here.the only thing that i have right now to trade is evening primrose yellow and orange daylilies,this is it until some more comes up in the spring i do have butterfly bush cuttings,now is the time to get them to have them to root by spring.thanks so much for welcoming me in to your"home" i LOVE IT HERE!!!

Well we are thinking the same thing Ginlyn. I was reading an email from a cousin in NC and her mother was a Moretz and married a Bryan. She was sending me a photo of her dad.
Moretz welcome to Dave's. I do have 1 varigated brug that I bought last year at the end on the season. I have it in the basement and I'll check tomorrow and see if it has anything that I can root and I'll get it for you. Jim
