I planted some seeds,only 2 germinated,one was a sang,and the other was SG x double white,both of them were un- peeled.They came up and the heads dried up and fell off.I was going to trash them and then realized the one had what looked like a small spur coming off where the head was.Well it now has 2 leaves,the other has 2 tiny spurs which I am pretty sure are leaves.
Just goes to show-don't give up on them too early!
Good for you! I had another seedling pop up, there are four now. Only one is a whisabella, though. (I'm being silly, and it isn't even accurate, whisabella would be whiskers x isabella, these are isabella x whiskers, but it doesn't work the other way!)

when did you guys plant these seeds? I just planted mine last week and was wondering how long it takes.
It all depends on the seeds,temp,etc...
The headless ones were planted before Christmas
I also planted Arborea,butterfly X ep,and Rosemond X l'amour
The arborea germnated in 10 days,butterfly X ep 12 days and the rosemond X Lamour still havent......
Oh, so much to learn...can't wait for monika's book!
