Ronna,
Do you have a picture of your double peach?

I have been wishing for Cotton Candy for some time. Sure wish I knew how to take cuttings as my double peach is about 4 years old and if I lost it - would be nice to have a backup!

TLC, I don't have a picture of my double peach. I'm going to try to keep the digital camera home more this summer, and take pictures to get me through the winter! I took some cuttings from my double peach and stuck them in a glass of water. I haven't paid much (ok, any!) attention to them, other than making sure that the glass doesn't get empty. Mine was getting too big, and it started out braided, but I hadn't kept up with it, so it was too woody to braid. At least some of the cuttings have rooted, I can see the roots. I need to pull them out and pot them up, but it's easier to find a place for a glass of water than several MORE pots.

What length did you cut? I presume you cut the newest growth? Rooting hormone? Maybe someone else can give more info.
thanks Ronna!
