Has anybody used the soil block makers? What were your experiences like?
Soil Block Makers
Brook, I've beeen using soil blocks for a couple of years now and really do like them. Yesterday I bought all the ingredients for the mix and hope to get it done next week. I have a tiny portable greenhouse that holds about six trays, plenty to start dozens of veggies and flowers.As I'm sure you know, the little seedlings stay within the block (air pruned), and so there is no transplant shock at all when you plant them. Also,the mix is so good that they get off to a great start.
