Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

I just woke up. had 3 teeth pulled today. mucho pain. DD has done his best. it's 8:30, 35 degrees. gonna bundle up and see what else i have out there i can save. sure hope they are wrong about the temps.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Arlene, don't exert yourself too much and also the cold sure could make your jaw hurt much worse. I cannot imagine having three teeth pulled at one time. I am one of those people that just absolutely hate going to the dentist even though I do go for check-up every 6 months. Please take it easy and take care of yourself so that there are not any complications. It will probably get pretty cold there because it is suppose to be in the low 20's here and freezing temps for 8-10 hours. Just think another month and this will be over for us.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Oh Arlene, you poor thing. I'm also another one who can't stand the Dentist. I agree with BrugNanny. Rest, keep warm, drink lots of fluids. Also make sure you take your medication if the doctor prescribed it.

Hopefully the cold will miss you and your babies will be fine! Here is sending warm thoughts your way. Take care of yourself. I hope you feel better soon.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

oh hon, I've been feeling sorry for you if that helps. hope all that have helped you got the good ones, and the rest will just have to be replaced through friends if necessary. you take care of yourself!

Just got back in from the gh at 7:45pm CST...it's 30.2 outside and 50.9 in the gh..I have two propane heaters going(on Low) and if necessary I'll turn them up higher. I'll check again at 10pm.

Arlene,
You better stay out of the cold.....send the kids after the plants.

Wow, three at one time, you sure do like to get it all done at once. Hope you are not feeling too bad and can take care of your "babies". We are set for it up here, everything has been inside. Supposed to get 0 and below tonight, was 5 last night, wind goes right through you!
Come on Spring! I'm ready.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Arlene, you take it easy. I'll pray the weather is wrong. If you lose anything you know we will replace them for you.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

thank you dear brug friends. i walked out for a quick look. looks like DH did a nice job for me, and i am very grateful. did get hiim to get my kyle's pink x butterfly/rosamond seeds in. i think the rest will be okay.
i had an abscess, on antibiotics. and i'm a baby, he gave me something to calm me down to take an hour before my appointment. i didn't think it was really working until coming home, i was seeing double and the lines on the roads were very strange. just woke up. ms frannie, he said it's be easier to get them all done at once, and i am glad i don't have to go back.
here's hoping that all of us end up warmer than they called for. Snow, i heard yesterday in new hamshpire mounts it was something like 20 below, 100 mile an hour winds and 80 below wind chill. was that near you? i think of that and count my blessings.
thank you all again, such dear brug friends!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Arlene, I don't blame you for having them done at once. When I had all mine out I knew he wouldn't get me back a second time so after two visits I talked him into pulling them all out at one time, tops and bottoms. He didn't want to do it but I insisted.I was hurting for about two weeks and could'nt eat a thing but liquids but still glad I had it done that way.
Mount Washington about 40 mi. from me had those temps and windchill. That mountain is famous for having the strongest wind in the world recorded and many hikers have died on it.
Our windchill here yesterday was about -45.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Arlene, take care of that jaw...and I hope the temps don't drop too bad for you.:-)

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Mukwonago, WI(Zone 5a)

Hi Arlene,

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Well we got down to 18 1/2. I hope the GH temps held. It was 25 with strong winds blowing when I got home from work after midnight and I didn't want to chance opening it and any heat escaping. I will check this afternoon when it warms up some. Gloria how low did you get down to.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Hi, Shirley, been missing you! my little hummer was here this morning chipping away at a frozen feeder. got him a warm one he tried, but i guess he wanted a frosty.
Donna B, i hope it warms up for you today. It is 31-32 here now, a little after noon!!! the sun is bright, but i don't know how much warmer it will get today. we're supposed to get into the high teens tonight, 22 was the low i saw. lights were out for about 45 minutes, came back on around 5. and 4 counties north of us didn't have school today because of the cold.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Oh Arlene, I sure do hope you feel better soon. Hope everything stays warm enough down there and you don't loose anything. Wish I could send some hot air down there to you all, but all the hot air around here turns to ice! Brrrrrr!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

arlene, I feel with you. Take good care of yourself. I am like you, just suffer once instead three times!
I keep my fingers crossed that the pain will be over soon.

Hope you're feeling better Arlene. Turn up the heat and take a few days off.

Donna,
It got down to 19º outside and 40º inside the greenhouse. I was going out there every 2 hours all night just to make sure....Ron woke up at 6am and he took over after that....I'm sure he didn't go out until 9am. LOL Anyway, everything looks great in the gh. I believe tonight I will light the tanks by 5pm and they will be on their own until tomorrow morning....now that I know they will be fine.

Arlene...hows the mouth?
