too cold for chickens?

Our temps will drop tonight in the upper teens, it will stay that way for over 6 hours. Coldest weather we have had in some time. I am worried about my southern warm blooded chickens. I have a coop for them, however, it is not fully closed in. Should I wrap the coop in plastic.Should I start knitting little chicken coats? Is 17 too cold for them? Thanks in advance for the feedback. Lisa & Lisa's cold chickens.
