Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Creamsickle is open ,it is very white, but I do see orange up near the calyx.I had to move it,the furnace was blowing on it and was drying it out.

I love it !

That's a beauty! Hope you get something good from the seeds.

Cool CC. It will probably change colour in a day or two. Hope you have some great pollinating plans.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

It is beautiful. Has to go back on my wish list. Bet that helps brighten up our cold dreary days! Congrats CC.

CC,
Very Pretty....hope mine grows up to be just like that.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

A beautiful flower. CC you need a good pollinator for it!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

very very pretty! when it changes color will you post another pic..........pretty please?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I used EP,is that a good one?

It was that or butterfly and I couldn't make up my mind.....

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

sounds good to me CC.....LOL!!! I sure hope it takes for you!
Doesn't Tonny want to get a double that has EP's shape?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I think EP will throw more whites than not, cc, but that's if my memory is right:) butterfly would be great too on the next flower.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I looked back CC and it is Tonny that feels an EP shaped double would be very special. Monika has also said she loves EP in a quest for doubles also. If you get whites, you may get the correct form then cross back with a good pink again to get the right color. LOL............. I sound like I know what I am talking about but I do not have a clue!!!

this thread I saved for it talks about creating a double pink....maybe it will help you.

CC,

I am happy with you. Such a good flower. I think EP as pollinator is good for this first crossing.

Wish you much luck to get a pod with many good seeds.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

CC, it is gorgeous. i think you'love this.also think it'll do better in your weather than mine. sometimes it takes the orange a while.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Congratulations C.C.! I love the double bloom and very long tendrils, which to me look like outstretched fingers :~)

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Congrats CC. It sure is very pretty.

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

I love it cc. Those doubles are so pretty. Good luck!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Yeah, its turning, the picture I took of it today didn't show the color real well, seems to be splotchy orange color

Hope you feel better Arlene!

'Creamsickle' is one of my most favourite brugs.
This one only gets better as it grows (o:

Very nice photo!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

CC, has the pollination been successful?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

No,in fact everything I have tried to pollinate in the GH this winter has not taken, not a pod in sight

I have buds on lots of plants though....but they're just sitting there..........

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

I am sorry CC. Winterpollinations often dont take...the plant needs its power for surving in winter ( less light and colder temps)it doesnt like to have pods at itself because a pod would need much power for growing.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I knew that but one can always hope and dream........

I WANT SPRING!!!!!

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

It is SO BEAUTIFUL! Congratulations!!
