Thiese pictures were send to me by a german customer. He bought the plants two years ago. I post them not to make advertising in my behalf but to show what Brugmansia fanciers may be able to achive with proper cultivation.
I admit, that I am always happy when I receive such pictures. The pink coloured plant is L'Amour.
Sorry edited twice for correct spelling

Monika, pretty brugs. Oh to have L'Amour. Guess I'll just have to wait.
Larry
Very nice to see this cold morning! Kristi
Sorry about the german name. It happened by mistake.
If only we could get your plants Monika, we would make you proud of us also! We have taken your lessons to heart also!
WOW! Such a beautiful sight to see first thing in the morning, only 5 degrees here this a. m. Come on spring!
Monika, thank you so much for sharing with us.
Very cold here too, Gloria about the same temp. Our water froze up over night, yuck. I am so glad I didn't have anything stored in the pump house. We didn't get to redo it before the cold hit, and now I couldn't get DH out there for anything.
beautiful pictures monika!!! I have so many I brought in as standards, I'm hoping for early blooms and maybe even a picture like this. don't have either of these two, but perhaps if I squint my eyes :)
Beautiful plants Monika.Your customer did a good job. After growing these plants for awhile now I have found that as with any living thing if they are given the proper care they will reward you with their beauty.
Monika, they do look beautiful! thanks for posting. i don't know how people in colder climates do it, i'm getty awfully itchy with no brug blooms, and with them sheltered or dead. i guess it's withdrawal.
If you have time, do you have more pics to post? i keep running through the archives and your book.
This true snow. Its a living thing that needs just as good care as we do. My climate is not very favorable for Brugmansias and often, I get only one flush of flowers in the year, but then it is a real big one, unless the summer is too bad as it was in 2000.
arlene, if you would live in our climate, you would be used to moving them in spring and fall and know the right things to do. And try every trick to over winter them to keep them healthy.
Arlene,
Monika is right, lol. You will get a good nose for first frost in fall and last one in spring. And you will find many warm and bright places inside for overwintering brugs.
Ludger, yes, Monika really inspired me this year. DH really really wants me to get a greenhouse, swears we will get one before next winter. i can't wait for spring.
they are great pics, Jeanne. boy i'm getting the crazies now....supposed to be 15 tonight and tomorrow night. can't wait for spring.
Arlene,
Guess I'll be up all night just to make sure my girls are warm enough in the GH....supposed to get about that cold here too.
Save those brugs!!!Bring them in,electric blanket........
Monika . . beautiful pictures.
Hope every stays warm tonight and their brugs too!!
Yes,
I wish the same! May you and all your brugs and other plants
stay warm and in good healthy.
