how do you grow abyssinian bananas from seed?

i've been trying since october and no sprouts,i didn't use all my seeds so i'm wondering can someone tell me how they started their seeds with success?...

I grew some a few years ago and they sprouted,nothing specal just potted up and kept warm and moist

Since then,I can't get a single banana to sprout......

I've grown a few different bananas from seed. Some took 5-6 months to sprout. I gave up on one pot of seeds and just tossed the soil, seeds and all into another houseplant.
A few weeks later, much to my surprise, one of the banana seeds started to sprout.
I wouldn't give up on them yet!
One supplier said they could take up to a year......
