Your Favorite companies to buy from

Seymour, TN(Zone 6b)

I would love to order some catalogs. I did a search on Yahoo and to be honest I did not run across alot of companies selling brugmansia. Am I entering it wrong ? Could some of you share links to your favorite companies to order flowers from ?

Cheryl, which sources do you already know of?

Seymour, TN(Zone 6b)

lol NONE for brugs..I know of a wonderful place to buy Canna's from..Horn's canna farm. They are wonderful people and very cheap. But mostly I've just purchased from Ebay, and since this is the first year I've become so addicted to Brugs, I don't know of any place yet to buy them from.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Cala sells them and I bet they are better than the ones you can get elsewhere. She is a long time member here and really knows her stuff!

You should check freq as she probably adds to her list as they root. She also sells seeds I believe.

PS: I read where Dave himself gave her a positive review in the Garden Watchdog!
PSS: A disclaimer........I am a good friend of hers but I think everyone here will attest that I am not being biased!

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

I would wait til Barbara is here again. I saw pictures from her young brugs. If I would be there and not in Germany I would have ordered some. Really good lookings plants.

Sorry, I dont have a link, may be someone can help for.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Cheryl, I have to say I have bought from Cala too, and was very pleased with my plants. If you contact her she may have more that she hasn't even put on her list yet, she was very fair with me, so I would advise anyone to buy from her. I have seen Barb's photos as well and they are beautiful, I haven't had the pleasure of doing business with her yet, but I am certain I will. Can't ever have enough plants, till time to put them up for winter anyway..... Good Luck!

Cheryl,
Barb, Cala and JT all have super plants....I would and have recommended all of them to people.

Hi Tracey!!!!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Well I have really never got brugs from anybody but Calla as far as plants. I have never had any trouble with them or any other plants from her. Most of my yard this year came from Cala's greenhouse's . The only other brugs I have are from cuttings from other great people here on this forum. So I would for sure recommend Cala!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Here is gone2seed's (JT) site. http://countrygdn.com/
He's probably one of the most honorable people I know.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I order some from Cala also. They were very nice and are doing well. Glad to see url for JT's site. I didn't know he had one.

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

I didn't know JT had a site, it is a very good one!

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Who is Barbara? Does she have a site? Can you tell I haven't been around long *grin*

Here is another company out of CA I ordered from in the fall. A VERY kind man to deal with. Sends very nice plants also.

http://www.captiveplants.com/

I also forgot to add that there is some very kind forum members that have plants to sell from time to time*

Barbara is Bward, she's out of town, her sister just passed away. She has some very nice hybrids.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I had posted here a couple days ago, but obviously I was in a hurry and did not send it. I just wanted to let Cheryl know Cala has a wonderful variety of brugs and tropicals and Barbara also has a great assortment of brugs. I have purchased from both of them. I have not done business with JT and did not know he sold brugs until recently.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

I'm glad to see a few people checking the site.I havn't pushed it since I won't start shipping until around the first of April.I am hoping to give a very fast turnaround on orders so don't want to start off by building up a bunch of backorders.
And BTW the site is still very much under construction.
I still need pictures of HG and Suave if anyone has one they would not mind me using.I have Maya,P&C and CDW thanks to Gloria,Shirley and Frances.More pictures will be going up as soon as I can get my web person moving again.
Thanks Gloria,Tig and Weeds for the kind words.

Jeff, I was thrilled to see the frogs on your page also.

Are you a resource for or do you know of a resource for
plain garden-variety frogs?

Thanks, Lav
