I have about 10 varieties of snowdrop floweringin the garden just now and here are a few. The rest are above ground and will flower in the coming weeks

This is Galanthus elwesii with an all green inner mark which might be worth naming.

just updating the thread a little to let you know I have 16 snowdrops blooming right now.

'Fenstead End' is bold, i like that, but I particularly like the one you may be naming.

Your camera's working fine now then judging by these ;)

Very pretty. I finally got around to putting some in this past fall, "galanthus nivalis". The squirrels had a field day, I hope they left some for me!

Absolutely great, Mark. Lovely photographs. Terrific flowers.

Should I look seriously at one of these cameras (I still haven't bought a digital)?

I'm grateful for your detailed reply to my question in the other thread. Thank you for taking the time.

I wouldn't get a Nikon 5000 like I did as it is way too complicated. I was very happy with my Fuji 2400 which has now been upgraded but I'm not sure which model. It was my first digital camera and my favorite and I now wish I didnt sell it.

BTW what happened to ticking me off for calling snowdrops "harbingers of spring" when Adam's flowered for the first time, telling me they start flowering in the autumn??
You've changed your mind now eh?
*G*

........and just to clarify, spose you intended to put that you 'wouldn't get a Nikon 5000'? Only you've missed out the not??

Two examples of being pedantic LOL :)

That's impressive!!

It was 'Atkinsii' that didn't like me. I shall definitely have to try again! I'd just been looking at your snowdropinfo site when I came back to DG to find 'Paradise Giant' waiting :)
