containers for planting cuttings

Seymour, TN(Zone 6b)

I have run out of pots to put my brug cuttings in. I've taken several milk jugs and drilled holes in the bottom, cut a portion of the top off, and planted the brugs in there. Will this be ok for a temporary home ?

Sounds okay to me. I've been using soda bottles with tops cut off. I don't think your brugs will mind.

I also have used those plastic cups (the colored ones - I lit a skewer and punched/burned holes in the bottom), pop bottles, milk cartons (the smaller ones) you name it, whatever I can use, I do....
Your milk jugs will be just fine.

I also use the above that others mentioned plus started using the large plastic bottles that spaghetti sauce comes in. Just about any plastic container would work. Mayonaise and etc.

I figure if it holds dirt and you can drill drainage holes in it, it's a pot!! You should see some of the stuff I used the first year.
