I need to go out and scoop snow here shortly off the front porch as UPS called yesteray for directions.

I did most of the chores last night. We use Abby, our border collie, to drive the ewes outside the pen because they will knock you over trying to get the feed. I called and called for Abby. Finally I noticed she was peeking from under the corn crib. I called and she still hestitated. I was getting mad. She finally came but would not go into the barn no matter how hard I tried to bribe and coax. I finally had to pick her up and throw her in the pen and then she was okay. DH wondered if our black goat didn't bite her as she can be quite mean. This is the same dog that chases our 2,000 lb bull's tail!

Ruth - LOL - about getting dizzy in freezer - I know what you mean. I hate that job too. The seal on the top must be going bad and it frosts up faster than it should. I try to keep something heavy on the top to weight the lid down but other members of family always forget to put it back. I would bet if they did the defrosting, they wouldn't forget.

Well I'd better go - lots to do again and I need to venture over to the high school to have the FFA advisor sign something for Julia.
