that the gold spots on the monarch chrysalis come from the legs and the mouth? I watched three caterpillars go into chrysalis and noticed that the tips of the legs became the gold spots on the top and sides of the chrysalis. The row of gold spots on the bottom is from teh mouth. I still don't know how they get that shiny gold, though. Anyone know. Bugguy???
