Jan 15, Sunrise this morning

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Good morning farmers and friends.
Here is this morning's sunrise lighting up the Elkhorn ridge like strawberry ice cream. The color was actually fading a little bit by the time I got out there to take the picture.
Last evening we went to a potluck at a church in town, saw slides of mission work in Tanzania, and visited with friends who were there. This work in Tanzania is unique because it was started and is operated by a Tanzanian national in his own native village and now after 20 years is training over 200 workers per year at a Bible Training Center. They also have a preschool, primary school for all 8 grades, a trade school and a medical clinic. Their current expansion project is to build a hospital in an area where there is no modern hospital for an area with about 2 million people. It is an ambitious project but God and God's people can do it.
Today I need to do some house cleaning, we have overnight company comming tonight. I also would like to add to the compost pile and have to take the dog to the vet this afternoon.
Have a good day everyone, count your blessings.
