Thanks for the warm welcome! Stockton Mo. is on the north end of stockton lake. I used to garden in northern Utah. I,d never heard of blister beetles, or weeds that grow all winter or critters that eat everything in sight. I,m looking forwarnd to lots of advice on how to deal with these things and more. I looked you up in my atlas too....we're about 6-7 hrs apart.I'm on KY Lake.

Just wait till you get 97 degrees and 97% humidity at the same time and skeeters the size of sparrows!

Have you been introduced to chiggers yet? heh, heh, heh!

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Melody, you need to keep some things secret!

Stockton, MO(Zone 6b)

Actually we have been here in Mo. for about 6 years. First year we had a beautiful garden, started it in March, and it did great til July til the blister beetles got it. (Were stilleating bottled tomatoes & soup) We then moved to a new place, and have not had much sucess since. By the way I have become very acquainted with chiggers, thanks. E
