For those that winter brugs in a dark room-

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

To force dormancy, when do you bring them into the light?
I have another seedling with foliage that I LOVE- it's yet to bloom (of course) it's in a semi-dormant state. Room is COLD and only about 3 hours of sun. Was thinking about bringing it downstairs into the light to get a jump start. The temps downstairs are about 75 daytime, 68 night. Sun from HUGE windows for six hours a day. Do you think it's still to early?

Thanks, Kristi

I have kept all my special, favorite brugs in the house, growing, by windows, ever since I brought them inside in October, they are just now starting to grow newer leaves, so am hoping to get a "jump start" on growing this next summer. Have cannas in pots, some 2' tall, also Passion Flwrs. 4' tall, wrapped around anything I can find.

To bring them out of dormancy, you can do anytime you want. If I had plenty of light and warmth, I'd probably have mine there all the time.
