This was taken yesterday up in the greenhouse. Told spouse He had to take a pic of me with my "biggie brug". This beast was pruned back quite a bit just before Thanksgiving. I'm not afraid of them, tho, since I am the one that feeds them and cares for them. They know me and are protective of me up there. Literally, It's a jungle up there!!!
Testosterone laced brug

Crystal, it doesn't have a name, that way it knows its place is not assured in the greenhouse.........it has to keep trying and blooming!!!!! :>) Vredfish, yours will grow, for crying out loud, you live in FLORIDA!!! I live in the tundra zone. You'll do fine.

Anna:
Your Brug is huge and beautiful! What are you feeding it and how often? :-)
what a nice pic, you must be thilled to have that big healthy brug. i thought you had posted a pic of a barbie doll til i enlarged it...
delecie, this particular plant I have had for 4 years. I just give it Miracle Grow, but lots of it. When blooming and growing, double strength 3 or 4 times a week. It's in a 20 inch pot, so it's a hungry plant. Not fertilized nearly as much since in the g'house. The leaves are huge on it, I should measure them and see just how huge they really are. As to the name of it, I really don't know, it was the first one I ever bought from a garden center and they were selling ones that they had grown from cuttings from plants that they had out in their summer display. Just a peachy-apricot-light orange-y color.
Anna, that is lovely.
