WE WANT PICTURES LARRY!!!

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

I figured out how to take a picture of a dog when I took Jake's pic the other day. Just hold a treat in the same hand as the camera, and make sure the dog sees you put it there. He will look straight at the camera, alert, ears up, maybe even smiling or doing tricks!

We NEED puppy pictures, Larry!

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Here is the Spouse and his shelter kitty, Pip. I got him Pip for Christmas. Spouse really misses having a lap cat since our Grumpy cat died in October. Pip is sooo happy to be out of the shelter (had been there since June) that he had to give Spouse kitty kisses. Pip is quite a boy!!!

Boy, Pip does look like he is happy. Comfortable too!!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That is so..cute, really enjoyed pic.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I just love that picture.............. your DH sure has his hands full of love!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

What a special picture. Glad that your DH likes cats.

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Here is another of our shelter kitties, we got her the same time we got Pip. Her name is Candy, and she had been at the shelter since July of 2001. One of the shelter volunteers told me she liked sleeping in a basket, so I made her a special one. As you can see, she likes it.

very nice! I can't believe how long your shelters keep the cats....that is just great. The 2 best cats that have shared my life were 2 adult strays.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I love dark tigers, always had those, and all of their names were "Tiger".

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

You should get a tiger cat for your birthday Hibiscus. I bet there is one just waiting for you at the shelter. Take the leap. And soon you too will have a warm furry cuddler sitting on your lap purring!

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

"Pip" has the look of TOTAL contentment! He and DH have certainly bonded very well!!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Thanks, Kell....I'm sure there is one waiting at the animal shelter, that's why I never go there. Our "wild", stray outside cats, that I feed, would kill a cat if I owned one.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

here's a link to a special little pet of mine, got to hold for the first and only time today.

Arlene that is so neat. I love hummers

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Arlene, I am so happy that you were able to experience holding a hummer. They are so soft, tiny and light and I know it is something that you will remember always. Glad that they got to band him and he is still eating well at your house.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

yes, it was an experience. Deanne, that kitten is so cute, checking out missy. i've never been around daschunds.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Did you see that sprint commercial, where the guy orders a herd of Oxen and gets a herd of daschunds....

I think is sooo funny, here they are all over a ranch, then you hear a cowboy yell 'Stampede",and all these little hot dogs go running by.......

Sorry,I still laugh thinking about it

Wonder if Larrys looks like that......

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I love that one CC.......too funny! Larry's would be even funnier for his have long hair I think........... must look like little herd of little shag rugs.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Yeh, weiner rugs.

Here is my 9 yr. old cat, Jake. He is really more of an alley cat than a house cat:)

Everyone's pets are so cute. Owen, I would have figured you for a bigger dog. I like Jake. Wish I had one just like him.

(Zone 6a)

Shirley....if you had to let Jake in and out of the house as often as we do you would quickly tire of him. lol He thinks we are here simply to serve him, at ALL hours of the day and night:) Used to have another cat that looked just like him, but he had to be put to sleep a couple of years ago; he was almost 19 and getting in really poor health. Also had another dog that ended up the same way, and a young cat that got hit and killed by a car. Have a regular pet cemetary in my back yard:)

Remember, I was given all these pets by my daughter, when she tired of them, so I had no choice as to breeds, sizes, etc. lol

Tracey,

That tree decoration is darling. My cat, the minute we had the live tree decorated, if she was outside in rain, or snow, came in with wet, sometimes muddy feet, headed straight for the white sheet under the Christmas tree where she loved to sleep. We NEVER had a pretty white sheet to put the presents on, but the kids didn't notice.

A beautiful dog, looks like Lassie. Do you have trouble keeping her brushed? Burrs, etc.?
