Good Morning everyone! I have been folowing this site for a few months and decided that I would like to be a part of this huge and growing family.
In May of 2002 I decided that since I had already put myself into a semiretired status, it was time to get serious about what I wanted to do and how I was going to enjoy the next fifty years of my life. Soooo, I relocated from the central part of Tucson, where I had lived for thirty five+ years, and purchased a home on one acre somewhat out in the 'boonies'.
I have played at gardening for many years, primarily with hydroponics and variations thereof. Everthing that I grew was snapped up by family and friends so I started selling my vegetables also.
Currently I am in the midst of preparing for 2003 and growing a lot of tomatoes, strawberries, etc. I am seriously considering establishing a home delivery system.
(Someone has to help me pay this mortgage off, right?)
Anyway, thank you for the welcome and I just want to say, I may not be an active 'poster to DG' but I will be following the activities.
You all sound as if you are 'good people.

Welcome, Bwashuta, from another Arizona resident- also in the "boonies". I am late finding this, as there are so many sites here to read, and all of them good! I came from "back east" 30 years ago, and still find growing an exciting challenge here.Keep us informed of your progress...farizona
