Can't wait to see them! I also can't wait to need something heat tolerant. Our weather has been so weird, we will be freezing in March, today it was almost 60. You have made some great crosses, hope you have lots of good pictures to show off.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Inca Moon is one gorgeous brug and I hope you get something special from them.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Inca Moon is heat, wind, and insect resistant to a great degree.Has many great qualities.....and bloomed 5 months from seed. :-)

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Question? Kyle did you notice any more bug problems when you planted all the coleus around the Inca Moon? I want something like that here this year, but was wondering if I need to treat with something as I put them in the ground.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Tracey, I didn't notice ANY bugs on this plant.Even with all the coleus around it! :-)

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Great! I can't wait to have a little spot with a brug and some coleus. I have a bunch of yellows, and I think some black leaved coleus, would be a tire squealer.

Tracey,
I have some hibiscus acetocella that has deep maroon red leaves on it..would look great next to a gold or yellow flowered brug.Gets about 7 feet tall but can be shaped with pruning. :-)

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Sounds great, that would be good with the wide leaved coleus, I can't think of the name, it has maroon leaves with a green center, with little flecks of yellow as the leaves age, shaped like a heart. It's a sun-lover.

Saturn????Or Eclipse? and no not me!..LOL

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Big leaves, like hand sized. If you had been in my garden we wouldn't be guessing, and it probably would have looked much better. I did notice in the green house where I bought them from they were more blackish and no yellow, the more sun they got the more maroon they looked.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Sounds like a neat coleus! :-)

Solar Sunrise. It did really well for me, I hid a really bad looking bird bath.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Here's hoping you come up with some more winners from your seeds.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

oh Tracey, I wish you had a picture. I am big into coleus this next year! yours sounds interesting

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Sounds like a winner Kyle. I hope you get some real beauties from it.

FSH, TX

I like the way you think when you hybridize Kyle. I can't imagine you not getting at least one winner from that cross. Congrats!

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Kyle, cant wait to see your winners from this one

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

So glad that you are working on heat tolerant brugs Kyle. After that will you work on color, shape etc within these heat tolerant brugs?

Brugnanny,

I will eventually..takes years to advance even a little with these plants.Especially if you are trying to maintain or create certain traits. :-)
