And if you must know I have not spoken to Vickie but once in many months
and she hasn't returned my last emails
So I will just do my thing and trade with those that will trade with me.

Larry, i am really sorry, i didnt' know anyone thought you sent anything to vicki's data base. i certainly didn't think so.
i think we'll all be fine shortly, it was a shock for some of us. please don't go away forever! a day or two, it'll be gone.
Larry who the heck said you did anything? I must have missed something. I don't think anybody stole anything. I think most of it is available on the web. And V didn't ask for permission. You seem like a friendly and intelligent gardener. I will trade with you in the future.

VH sure knows how to stir things up dosen't she! Read Bruno's post where he gives his thoughts about VH. From my experiences, I think he describes her perfectly. She is a sad situation in my opinion. I just hope she lets Calalily down easy-like when she is ready to discard her. She uses people for her own purposes, in my opinion which is based on personal experience. She may be smart and she may be attractive, but I pity her.
This should all be kept private. Larry Please re-consider.
Larry, you beat me to the punch. I spent the morning thinking of everything that has gone on here, while I was away. When I saw the names listed on ABADS site, I have to admitted my stomach felt queasy, but I thought there are others here I recognize, that nobody has a problem with. So I thought it would be OK. It wasn't. My official stance is now and will forever be...I WILL NOT BE A MEMBER OF ANY GROUP OR ORG. THAT PROMOTES ANYTHING. I believe the past days and months have shown us all why secret societies have formed. I have worried for months that things were getting out of hand, all of our friends have taken sides. I love Brugmansia, Datura, Salvia, Hibiscus.... and for the most part flower people. I do not like feeling seperated and segregated. To all of my friends, I respect your ideas and thoughts, and your RIGHTS! I am in no way saying I don't, I just do not want to be part of any group, and if staying neutral on these subjects causes distrust of me so be it. I have opinions just like everyone here, but will not publicly state them any longer, my friends feelings are way more important than that. Pointing fingers has never solved any issues, just hurt innocent people. Wronging someone doesn't make you a bigger person, just makes the fall from grace harder. With that being said, anything one says or does can will be taken wrong by someone, it has always and will be forever a fact. So somebody will take what we have said here today as a slam or as a paranoid way to exclude us from a circle.
TLynn.....so let's forget the circle and concentrate on forming a trapezoid then:) LOL
I belong to both BGI and ABADS, but I was one of the first to join ABADS, and now regret it. It is run by a dictatoress.
BGI still has a long way to go to match the information that ABADS provides, but at least BGI has character, which ABADS certainly lacks. People new to brugs have no idea, and will think ABADS is a fantastic site though, which saddens me, because I hate to see something built by evil recognized and regarded as good. Just my humble opinion.

My statement about Vicki is just a fact.
Nothing bad. She is someone who I do business
with. I bought EVERY brugmansia (she offered) from her and
paid in full nearly 2 years ago now and haven't gotten but one shipment. I am not worried about getting the rest either. (good things come to those that wait.) LOL Even the ones that she has dropped. I have all confidence that the plants will be made up with another. Thats just good business.
I had e-mailed several others (at that time). I wanted to buy nearly every burg they carried and got no response? One several times. I thought all Money talked?
You ALL are my friends and some times friends say or do things that hurt. All that is part of loving and forgiving.
When it's all said and done the only thing you take to the grave yard is your reputation.
I have no bad feelings of anyone.
It's a sad state that one can be judge just because he/she belongs to one group or another thats why I wanted to be a member of all > ABADS ( I was the first member ), BGI, etc. 20 years from now these and more brug orgs. will be around... I hope all of us will.

Larry, i have said over and over, it matters not to me who is in abads, that goes for everyone! i have a couple of very cherished friends who are in it, and i do not berate abads to them period.

First I back up Owen totally all the way in his description of how ABADS is run.
This is my personal experience too and NOT merely something I say, because I expect a pad on the shoulder for it. Quite on the contrary, because I know that many people are angry at e for writing it and don`t understand how in the world I could ever dream of dragging such fine lady through the d*rt. I was threadened by civil lawsuit too, but as Owen mention, people new to brugs have no idea about the character of the ABADS president in particular, and will think ABADS is a fantastic site though, it is something built by evil recognized and regarded as good
I wrote an article that analyse every little step of the way, when VH without any reason exclude me of ABADS and thinks she could get away with it. The article is well documented and show both how the ABADS is lead.
I will say to Larry, as I also states clearly in that critical article that I, as I know Arlene also feel, have every respect for ABADS and for anyone that is a member there (several BGI members is ABADS members too). The problem is not ABADS, it is a wrongdoing president.
