I have no knowledge of what has going on with ABADS.
The knowledge I do have is about the kind and caring people on this forum. Everyday I log on I learn something new! Your time, your stories, your experience on this subject is priceless!
I have been touched by all of those that send out plants for postage. Many times not getting the postage in advance. Asking nothing in return.
Those of you who have sent out un-named seedlings and with NO INSTRUCTIONS- on good faith alone.
How about those who have sold cuttings for mere dollars- cuttings that were rooted! Cuttings of plants that I wouldn't have been able to purchase at full price!
I'm thankfull for all of you! You increase my knowledge of these plants daily. You keep me interested, you make me want to learn more. Your generous nature and sprirt are uplifting. Your passing on happiness!
The joy I get when I open a package of cuttings should be bottled and sold. If the cuttings live or die, if they are named or not, you brought a smile to my face.
But it's not about cuttings or seeds or seedlings. It's about your giving nature. The information you pass along has inspired so many of us. I look forward each day to learning. This forum is the reason I joined DG in the first place. I wasn't interested in any other forum then (I am now).
Your giving nature will be passed on in the form of information and plants that you have shared. Your kindness will always be remembered!
In the end that will matter. A big thank you and hugs to all.

To remind everyone about the good in the brugmansia world!
Your very sweet and Ditto for me too.
Kristi, you are a sweetheart. i have been so glad to see so many new faces here, and hope they don't run away!
Kristi, it is hard to watch "Family Feud" day in, and day out. It seems as though when one crisis is over another begins. I have spent months begging for peace, but it isn't going to happen. It is sad to watch friends turn on each other.
Well said. EVERYONE!
Wishing you well, Tracey.
I agree with Kristi completely. EVERYONE here has been so nice, kind and generous with me. I enjoy reading all the information and ideas that you post and appreciate you sharing your cuttings and seeds with me. Peace and love to you all. God Bless!
Off the subject a bit....but I just posted three pics of my growing brug cuttings in the photo forum in case anyone wants to see them. Just hope they don't end up on the ABADS site:)

I think Kristi is 100% right. Everyone I have met here has been SO kind and generous it has just amazed me!
I agree whole heartedly! If it weren't for all the wonderful, generous and very knowledgeable people in this forum, I wouldn't have known or developed my love for Brugs! What a great addiction :~)
I am super sensitive to rejection, and it was with alot of reservation that I finally posted a my humble "brug begging" ---I was bombed, I have 19 cuttings, with more on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It did more then fill up my bathroom window,---it gave me a sense of belonging right off the bat, with down to earth folks... Maybe my life is just super lame, but its a treat to get off of work, grap a hot cup of coffee, and visit with yall. *waves to Christmas cactus* :)
DITTO, DITTO, DITTO!!! I agree this is the best group of people I have ever met!!! Thanks everyone who has helped me,given me information and cuttings! I won't be leaving!
This forum was the reason that I joined here, too. Kristi sent me cuttings last year, and put the postage check that I had sent her in with the cuttings. Talk about a giving nature. She is so sweet!
Cheryl, I'm very sensitive to rejection, too. I didn't even have the guts to ASK for cuttings, only responded when someone offered them. I admired you for not being the chicken that I am!
Another sweet person on here saw me pining for pinks and offered me a rooted Butterfly. Thank you again, my friend.
I must confess I like this forum much more when we can sit back and just relax and share in the joy of growing Brugs...whether from seed or cuttings...theres just something about them that I can't get enough of. Thanks for the reminder of all the good things here in Brug world.
Sincerely,
Eric
