I love when I go see one of my babies and they look so good,I wish I had something to show the size,It's about 7ft. and starting to crack this pot.
Alocasia
Hey Root: I am thinking you better get that into a bigger pot. And give it some of your famous Rabbit Do. It has dwarfed the pot. We used to raise rabbits and that rabbit do is the best, you can use it straight on the plants, don't have to wait for the heat to go out of it. Excellent specimen.
That is a beauty..
Your greenhouse?
I can just feel the warm tropical breezes and taste that yummy fruity rum drink...What a beautiful plant!
I wish it was my GH,LOL,it's a wholesale Gh,this is sitting way in the back,My friend works there,:)
That is one very impressive plant!
Root, I have one of those too. It's living in a 20 inch pot, and doing great. I give it urea in the summertime, 1 T. per gallon of water once a week. My EE's gulp it up and grow like gangbusters.
When was this picture taken?
Picture was taken this afternoon, let me clear this up,Its my friends plant,It's off the one I gave him,I just call them my babies,The one I gave him was even further back in GHs,And Taller,I put my bulbs to sleep for the winter.Sorry for any confussion,I just thought it looked healthy.:)
You're right - it looks fabulous. Boy I sure wish I had access to a space like that. Got any more in there?
They had tables of alos in,some I had not seen before,I hope to work there if all goes right.:)It's HUGE!
This is also the place that had the monstera I put at the end of a thread.I am trying to go from a foundry to a GH,I don't know which will be hotter,LOL
well the GH will smell better when everything starts to bloom. I always thought that would be a neat job.
oh, I have spring fever sooooo bad!!! Awesome plant Root!
Liz, is this the one you want???? Wow! How on earth do they grow that big??? Elaine
I'm happy to say my friend gave me back the one at the top of this thread today, what do you think, put it right out front of the house?might just turn some heads,LOL

I looked everywhere for it down here, hoping to save you the trouble. Can't find a one.
Nope,Don't Fret,I'll zip it there next warm spell,I think Dave needs one now that he's gonna be a true southerner again.
Roselaine, I have one thanks to Dennis.
Root, bring back the first picture - the one in the front of your house, I know I saw you hiding in there somewhere.
Smile back to you too! This is when I first met you. LOL, those plants blew me away.

Rootdoctor..gunneras don't do well in our midwest heat..they always die..they like cool nights and warm..not hot days..San Francisco and north kind of climates. We tried them many times and all died a lingering death..
Man! You sure know how to tease us people in cooler climates! LOL I love the pic with the castor beans. And you already know I'd kill for the ears. LOL
