Boy look so good was it taste great? Which one are the better one taste?
These are awsome tomatoes RR....They are on my list every year, and that has to be a pretty good tomato because of all of the varieties that I have. You would really like them.Dave and Trish like them too.
Sounds like one I would like to try, where can I get seeds?
Most commercial companies offer Cherokee Purple,or check the trade lists around here. It's a popular tomato with DG'ers.
Welcome to DG picle...look around and get to know us.Best spot on the web!
Excellent picture Melody. That is exactly what my Cherokee Purple 'maters looked like:)
Mine had a rich unique flavor, unlike any other 'mater I ever tasted; very good.
My only complaint is that my vines did not produce very heavily, and I know they were in excellent soil. Raised some Marianna's Peace 'maters in the same spot last year, and had excellent yields on those vines. Wondering if Cherokee Purple just naturally does not produce well.
