Great cross Kyle. Hope you get something very special.

kell someday we will get Esmeraldas. The wild forms seem to carry over color better.Since Esmeraldas was a wild collected form its safe to assume its a natural hybrid.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Wish you luck, Kyle. Esmeraldas was collected in the same named province Esmeraldas in Ecuador. Its a parent of Alicia.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Kyle . . I hope your wishes come true and you get a real beauty out of this cross.

Kyle, never say never *lol* There has got to come something red or pink seedlings there. Not only statistically, but if Esmeraldas is parent to Alicia Esmeraldas give at least some pink to the cross and in Erics Isabella crosses pink seem to be quite frequent too. I am very curious about the shapes. Isabella is about the most beautiful among the older US crosses. Many x insignis and suaveolens crosses has pink and green to yellowish instead of white. Isabella has (on photos at least) pink close to red and pure snow white and then this unbeatable shape. Congratulations with your cross! :)

I hope you grow every single seed and many of them are dark pink. The shape of Esmeraldas would be nice too if it would come through. Way to go.............
