Kristi,
This Brugs is either Insigins Pink or Isabella or hybrid...but not Versicolor. Here is a versicolor...notice the difference in the shape of the flower.

Shows how much I know, LOL.... I thought since the flowers changed from one color to the other it was a versicolor. Learn something new everyday. Thanks, Kristi

You know, I believe this is a hybrid??? Looking back at photos it may be a seedling someone sent me a couple years ago. AGH- I wish I kept better records!

Kristi,

This is the one that you sent me that I kept asking if you were sure that it was Frosty Pink! I knew that it didn't look like the other one that I have that's labeled Frosty Pink! It has satiny leaves, I was hoping that it might be Isabella. I don't think the flowers are as long as Insignis Pink, at least from the pics I've seen. If it helps, you sent us cuttings last October, and 4 of them were this pink.

So this is the one you were talking about. Your cuttings came from the plant you see pictured. I suppose I'll never have a correct ID on it. So another hybrid it is. I looked back in my trade journal and found someone out of New York who sent me a seedling of a brug that she grew- BUT- she also sent some un-named cuttings, one of which she was sure was Frosty pink, LOL.... Had to be about three or four years ago. Don't you just hate the name game? Sorry if I caused you any confusion- I myself am in a perpetual state of confusion all the time it seems *AGH*.
Thank goodness I bought a p-touch label maker- I'd be lost without it. One defense I have, I wasn't into brugmansia growing at the time- how's that sound?

My monitor is dying on me but am I seeing the darker pink banding around the edges? Isabella?

Looks like Isabella to me.

Well, it sure is pretty what ever it is and I just love your little vignette there. Is that phlox in the front?

I've always liked it, even though I don't know what it is? Actually I'm not even sure if I have it anymore?

Kell- in front of the brug is cardoon-grey leaves, dahlia-yellow, and my FAVORITE phlox of all time. A pass along plant given to me by a dear friend.
