It's lovely Arlene. Is that the first day? I wonder if the color will darken.

Burlington, ON(Zone 6a)

Any that are blooming now are all 'special'IMHO! :))

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I think it is pretty. Just enough ruffle to add to the overall good looks. The color reminds me of Calla's French Vanilla, I think that was the name of it.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

i agree, anything blooming now is special. it's been in slow motion, brought in last night for first time. can't tell you how many times it's been in the low 30s, around freezing, light frosts. it's pale yellow, think it might go gold. i noticed the leaves above flowers have a couple of serrations. this is 2nd night blooms.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I think its pretty.......

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Pretty.I'm glad to see someone has a bloom. When mine stopped they REALLY stopped.I think it's lack of natural sunlight.

Eclipse, I was thinking the same thing about its background. I made a few Dr.Sues hybrids...and I did have a few that came out similar to that one. Mostly DxS hybrids though. Seedpods came out looking a bit more versicolor than either parent. Nice hybrid Arlene... Congrats.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It looks like satin. I think the color will darken with the next few flowerings. I got that color a lot from my Dr. Seuss seedlings too.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Cala, i think you are right, it's got that satin thing looking like it's go gold. what good eyes you have! i am very very glad to have it keeping me company right now. i'm thinking Dr. Suess too.
