Here is another light set up he did for me, it's on a pully!

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

I can raise and lower it to the height of the plants. Currently I have P & C standard under there as well as a few misc. plants.

OH I am so envious !! I need one of those !

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Cool idea. Looks like your plants like where they are too.

Burlington, ON(Zone 6a)

Just a thought Kristi....
If your growing areas is cool, you can increase the temperature surrounding the plants by trapping the heat those lights are producing.
Simply lay a piece of Styrofoam insulation across the top of the 48" fixtures and drape clear plastic over that will hang down to the floor.
I did that with mine and the temperature inside,1/2 way between the floor and the fixtures, is 80F, at the floor 68F.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Your DH is a smart man. That's a very handy light setup.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

There's no way I'd ever trust my DH with something that heavy over my brugs......LOL
You're very lucky and they look great!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

looks like a good set up. looks like you have room for some more plants too...lol... did you find EP?

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Wow,very nice present!

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

wow that is cool----and i like the idea of draping the plastic under it to increase the temp---wonder if somehow you come increase the humidity too? (do brugs like humidity?)---wonder is theres any benifit in adding some cheapo mirrored tiles on the bottom and reflection the light back up????

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Has anyone noticed how expensive the light set-ups are in the catalogs? Gosh... a one light table top set-up is $100 or more - and that would only be enough for 2 trays. The units with shelves are outrageous! It's a good thing us gardeners are so crafty!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Wow that is a really great idea. That is a nice present indeed.

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

other too! this look pretty nice too!
