Evert - is this invasive for you? I have a pot of it I grew from seeds but I never put it in the ground. I was worried it would spread everywhere. How does it behave in Finland??

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Yes. The flowers are pretty, but it spreads too much. Luckily, the it's growing on a pretty dry place, so it hasn't spread too much yet.

I wondered (feared) the same thing, Sue. Elena has a beautiful stand of it in her garden, and she shared with me. I put it in with a bunch of thugs, and the last time I checked, it appeared to have lost the battle to the Monarda. Might need to get a new batch from Elena in the spring :) Nice shot, Evert! (Actually I've been admiring all the entries you've made today - really nice work!)

Hmmm - glad I didn't put it in my garden :o) Maybe I'll stick it out in the field and let it fend for itself.

Thanks Vols. "I got wild with the PDB". I think I should go sleeping. It's 2:25 here.

Do you have any seeds from this plant?
