thanks SoCal! oh man! I just wrote huge thing to me and know it`s all clean! I start again;
I live in Lappeenranta it`s pretty small city, only 60 000 people.....
I have startet plant growing just little while ago (last spring)........we bought my first plants in Kenkävero ("shoetax") little weird name dont`s you think? however i`t place in Mikkeli! and there is little garden which sells plants......mine first plants were parsley and dragoon.....two little herb seedlings! when we got home on there I tryed to grew them inside......but I moved the outside....(they dont got enough light)..........few weeks later I went close marketgarden and bought few other herbs I remember that basil but not that other one................and I startet to went there alot! sometomes I bought somethin and sometimes not!....................when summer was over and I went there to bought one pot, I asked " can I get summer-works in here next summer?" she =(place owner) put mine name in list but not promesed anything.................
then went time, and I grew my plants normally, I grow; houseplants, exoticplants (carnivorous plants), hotpepper, and summer I grow summerplants *hehheh*....
in school teathes said that "we have labour services
day at next week"......next day I went asked same marketgarden owner "can I come next week labour services
day work in here" and it was ok!.............I went there (morning) nine, I cleaned one big greenhouse totally, and was fun!..................same I confirm my summerwork place..............
that kind of thing! I have pretty much plants now, and seeds too!

Welcome!!
Great to see you guys picking up gardening so young. I wish I had spent more time with my Mom in her garden. I didn't really discover the joys of it until I was in my late 20's.
Glad you are here!!
Welcome Mitjo. You will find lots of great information and great people here. We are glad to have another member from Finland.

welcome Mitjo, I look forward to hearing about your adventures.
Hi Mitjo, I came over here from the brug forum to get to know you, as you suggested. Very interesting reading and I'm so glad you are getting into growing all the different plants that you do. I am much, much older than you. I'm retired now and am a grandma of an 18 year old and 5 younger ones. Even tho there is this age difference, we both love plants and I'm sure will get to know each other more as time goes by. Enjoy your time at Daves. It is a great learning tool for many things.
I`m glad that too! but I have not done one thing which I must to do! last spring, when we was in Mikkeli I didnt want to go in there Kenkävero! but my mom did, and I`m very happy with that! if we didnt go there I am not practising plant growing! I must to thank him for that she didnt listening me!
I`m sure I do!

Mitjo, I wish our local department stores would hire some plant loving people like you to work in them. It's so sad to see the plants dying in the summer because the employees just don't care. :( That greenhouse is fortunate to have you coming there this next summer for work!
that could be great!
that marketgarden which I have talk about, that keep plants very healthy! place owner wake up every morning five a clock to water the plants!
