Fixed it!!

For the past week or so, my puter would just shut down suddenly after about 15 minutes. I would then attempt to restart it and it would stay on for even a shorter time! Very aggrevating. The last straw came after I had typed a long letter to a friend and was doing spellcheck, it shut down just before I sent it and I lost the whole thing! I thought for sure my puter was dying, and it's only a year old.

Talked to my son (puter guru). He said to take out the little fans that cool the Power supply and clean them. Sure enough, we did that and now it is like new again. I couldn't believe all the dust and grime that had collected on the fan blades. We used a Q-Tip and Alcohol. DH says if we had let it go, it would have got so hot it could have burned out the whole thing.
